**YouWiki** is the encyclopedia of record for You, the figure documented in the drawings of [[KillersForLunch]]. It is maintained by a single curator and is not affiliated with any other encyclopedia, foundation, or movement.

## Scope

The catalogue covers three things: depictions of [[You (character)|You]], associated works in which You does not appear, and the people involved. Subjects outside this scope are outside this scope.

## Editorial policy

Anyone may propose a new article or an edit to an existing one. Every proposal goes to the curator, who reads it personally and either publishes it or declines it. There are no other editors, no committees, and no appeals process, which keeps meetings short.

Each contributor may hold three proposals in the queue at a time; decided proposals free their slots. Submitting requires identifying You in a small lineup of photographs, a task that has proven reliable at separating readers from machinery. Proposals may attach up to six photographs, which remain unseen by the public unless the proposal is accepted.

Published changes are permanent in the sense that matters: every accepted revision of every article is kept, and any reader can consult the full history of a page from the History tab. Declined proposals are not published and are not shown.

Articles describe what the photographs support. Where a reading is interpretation, it is written as interpretation. Where the record is silent, the articles say so. Corrections come from the artist and are applied without ceremony.

## Images

All photographs are supplied by the curator. Public image uploads are not accepted. Small versions are shown in articles; selecting an image loads the full-resolution scan, which for most works is considerably larger than the article.

## Contact

Proposals through the [proposal form](/new) are the only channel. The curator reads the queue more often than is probably healthy.
