The Leviathan of Blue Team (28 June 2026) is a collaborative drawing by Holloway and KillersForLunch, executed in blue and pink marker on the Blue Team roster board of a beach volleyball venue. It is the only authenticated collaboration between the two artists, and it contains the earliest documented appearance of You.
Description
Holloway's contribution occupies the whole board: a large sea creature drawn over the roster grid, with eyes at the top and a wide-open jaw ringed with jagged teeth across the lower half. Further line-work continues below the roster onto the "Coming Soon" panel.
Inside the open jaw, in pink, sits a You: the rounded body, the whiskers, the level smile, small legs tucked beneath. It is positioned squarely between the upper and lower teeth. Its expression is the standard one.
In the photograph, the artist stands beside the board wearing a look of documented shock. One player had signed up for Blue Team before the creature arrived, and their season did not anticipate any of this.
The collaboration
Attribution follows the line and the color: the monster restates and corrects itself in Holloway's manner; the You is drawn in the single settled stroke of KillersForLunch. The order of operations is disputed. Either Holloway drew a jaw around an existing You, or the You was added afterward into an open mouth. The first reading is an ambush; the second is a decision by You. Those who know You favor the second.
Significance
Predating You, Indicated by six days, the pink figure here is the earliest You on record, which means the species enters the documented world already inside a mouth and entirely at ease. The type specimen remains the July wall drawing, which shows the anatomy unobstructed. The leviathan shows the temperament.
Provenance
Photographed at 04:24 local time at the same venue later documented in You at the Seaside. Whether the roster board was ever cleaned, and whether Blue Team ever fielded a side, is not recorded.
